Our Story
It Started with a Simple Belief
Our journey with children began in high school, where we were part of a club called Future Florida Educators of America. We fell in love with tutoring students after school — and that passion never left.
Even through the challenges of COVID, we knew one thing for sure: we wanted to continue making a difference in children’s lives. That dream became Your Child First.
Why “Your Child First”?
The Whole Child, Always
We chose the name Your Child First because we look at children as a whole — not just a student with curriculum or test scores.
We acknowledge that their emotions, mental health, and overall well-being affect their success in day to day learning. When we support the whole child first, we unlock their true potential.
Our Philosophy
Every Child Learns Differently
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. We meet each child where they are, using a variety of teaching methods and strategies to help them truly understand — not just memorize. We slow down, explore different ways of learning, and give children the space to make mistakes, learn from them and grow.
Two People. One Mission.
We’re Bridget and Justin Husain — middle school sweethearts, partners in life, and co-founders of Your Child First. Our journey started with a shared passion for helping children and it continues today as we work together to make a lasting impact on the next generation.
Meet the Team
Justin Husain
I love using science, math, and problem-solving to make a positive impact. I’m analytical, curious, and always looking for ways to build, improve, and find solutions.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my children, working on cars, or playing basketball.
My favorite part of working with children is seeing them build confidence and independence.

Bridget Husain
I love creating a learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to grow.
When I’m not teaching or planning fun lessons, you’ll find me with my family, doing arts and crafts, planning special events, or outdoors.
My favorite part of working with children is seeing the excitement in their eyes when they realize they truly can do anything they work hard for.
